I am very excited to announce the appearance of a book I've been working on, with co-author Fedor Benevich (now at Edinburgh University): the first of three volumes on the reception of Ibn Sina's (Avicenna's) philosophy in the Islamic East, in the 12-13th century. This is a sourcebook of about 700 pages providing English translations of passages about Metaphysics and Theology chosen out of the vast philosophical literature of the time. There will be two more big volumes coming, on Logic/Epistemology and Physics/Psychology. This is also available open access, from Brill, and you can see it here:
